Release Inflammation

There are two kinds of inflammation: acute and chronic.

Acute inflammation is how our body heals and fights invaders. For example: you get a stomach bug and the immune system recognizes this invader and releases an inflammatory response in order to kill the foreign bug.

Low-grade, chronic inflammation, however, is ever present and communicates to your body that it is not safe. This causes your histamine levels to spike and your immune system to hit overdrive. This affects your hormones by stimulating the ovaries to make too much testosterone (terrible for women + weight-loss), impairs your ability to receive leptin signal to suppress appetite and spikes stress. Constant stress = more inflammation and therefore creates a vicious cycle.

When you are dealing with chronic inflammation, you are exhausted all the time, maybe your joints and bones hurt, you have skin conditions such as acne and eczema, and some digestive concerns like IBS and headaches.
